getting no rest!Having only one week for holidays is not enough. We have to spend this one week doing nothing but assignments unless we want to fall behind and fail miserably. Everyone, even teachers, wished to have more holidays, so we can actually catch some rest. This year has been very stressful from the very start and knowing that we only had one week was a bummer.
For the coming week, I have to plan out accordingly the few days we have to finish the HUGE load of work we have to do. The numerous amounts of paintings, the journal for the dissertation, the literature review, the sculpture, the experimentations for the multimedia amongst many many many others. The saddest part of this all is how upset this year is making me and my classmates. We are all very exhausted and fatigued from all the work-load we have. Like last year, I honestly do not know how I passed because it was the toughest year I had ever experienced, (the all-nighters helped!) Aside from that, when I asked out of curiosity the work the fine arts first years have now, they mentioned ALMOST HALF of what we had and with the comment of, us teachers learn from our mistakes. This course is still on trial and my year is what me and my class mates call ourselves as the 'hamsters'. They give us the assignments, see how we go and the alterations will be done after the hustle and bustle we went through which is completely unfair. If they do not know how the course should have been established, then they shouldn't have opened it in the first place. Using my year as test bunnies to see what should be changed is an utter disgrace and is totally unfair on my year. If this blog post were to be signed by how many people agreed with me, all 17 students including myself would have our signature on it!
