RestNothing beats the feeling of handing in all of the assignments. I had an all nighter on Thursday 26th January, a day before the deadlines and I was up till 6 a.m. There were certain things that I shouldn't have left for the last minute and I have to brush up on time management for the coming semester. After finishing all the work at 6 a.m. I decided to take a 3 hour nap before I got a ride to take all of the paintings and other units to school. It is important to note that six paintings were wet therefore I had to open a bed sheet on the car seats and place them gently whilst making sure that every spot was covered.
I asked my boyfriend to be very careful so he doesn't take sudden breaks just in case something fell. Luckily nothing got stained when I arrived at school and with the help of my friend I placed everything in the fine arts studio. That satisfaction of finishing EVERYTHING is amazing. Although I was a living zombie with dark circles around my eyes, I immediately went to bed. A well deserved nap. Now that we're in our holidays, I am finally taking care of myself. I started gym again and managed to beat my own personal record at the leg press, 130 kg and I also pampered myself which felt great. Taking a break both physically and mentally is necessary, sleeping more than 10 hours feels great and training feels better. I have to learn to manage my time better so my life won't revolve around school only but also my health and well-being. For the second semester I need to be more productive. (The only thing that's still keeping me on the edge is the grades the lecturers are going to give me!!)
